The Clarksburg Gem, Mineral, Jewelry and Fossil Show comes to the Harrison County Parks & Recreation Complex. There you will see high quality displays of minerals, rocks, gems, jewelry, beads, fossils, artifacts, projectile points, lapidary, demonstrations, science shows and exciting shopping opportunities. The show is “a museum where you can purchase every exhibit”). Bring that rock or fossil you've always wanted identified and let one of our geologists or paleontologist identify it for you. Come see fine jewelry making demonstrations in the form of wire wrapping. There are also free science shows and demonstrations ranging from Solar Beads to Rockets. There will be hourly door prize drawings and a grand prize drawing. Fun for all ages. Food and drinks on site and plenty of free parking. $3 admission good for both days, kids under 12 are free. DIRECTIONS

Take Exit 119 off I-79 at Clarksburg & Bridgeport and head West on US Route 50.
Take Chestnut Street Exit and continue on Chestnut Street to West Pike Street (also Rt. 20). Turn right on to West Pike Street and Route 20.

Follow Route 20 about ½ mile. You will pass McDonalds on your left and at Wendy’s turn left across the bridge on to Route 19 South.

Follow Route 19 South about 3 miles passing a Sheetz gas station on your right and then Rosebud Plaza on your left. Look for the signs and Harrison County Parks & Recreation Complex on your left. Park in back of the building.
